Hi all,
Just a quick one to say hello from a new member.
My names Dan and I'm from Manchester, driving a slightly off standard 1L 12v Corsa. Got a K & N Induction Kit and a 4.5" Rage Exhaust.
Rest of the body is Standard at the minute, but I am looking to work on that. Got an ok stereo in at the minute but thats all I have done so far.
I gave that Vauxhall Recall number a try today, I have got 2 out standing Recalls on it. One is the usual seat re-enforcing and the other is an ECU update.
They have tried passing me round to every one, now I have got to wait until tomorrow to hear back off the man at Vauxhall, as to when I can take it in and also if the ECU is still covered by Vauxhall as it is over 3 years old.
The woman tried to give me the usual line that she couldnt find out any details with out other numbers but then she tried with my Reg and all was well.
Sorry this has been quite a long pointless first post but now you know about me and I hope to get to know more people on here in time.
Cheers
Dan

Recalls don't expire, and dealers should be happy to do the work - it's money for them!
Welcome anyway

From Middleton quite near to Rochdale just incase no-one knows where that is.
Would a recall on the ECU still be ok even if the car is a 1998 S reg. Thats what the bloke was saying, some thing about it may not be covered by Vauxhall any more.
