Called limited mileage yeah.
I.e, if you only use your car at weekend (im sure a lot of you younger drivers wont get away with limited milage, hell i was ALWAYS out in D4 when i first got it ).

they ask you how many miles are you guna do at the start of the quote, think every insurance company does it.
I expect different companies will give different quotes tho

most if not all insurance agents etc willask for how many miles you do a year however not all insurance agents pay out like for like e.g if you crash and the bumper needs replaced they will replace it with the modified version. Greenlight replace mods like for like, HIC do agreed valuations.
as for the same policy - no. different policy for each car.
I take it your car is not really driven much then

I do a fair few miles but im wanting to get a cheap runaround to do the majority of the miles in, keeping the corsa for weekends etc. So just wondered the best way of insuring both cars. cheers for the info mate
think id be best keeping my insurance on the corsa, and getting the runaround in my dads name and just driving it 3rd party

Dont know about show car insurance, but i've limited mine to 1k miles a year. I'm paying low insuarane anyway, limiting the mileage saved me about £50....
