Got tailed by a policecar over 1.2 miles with an average speed of 90.18mph  Stupid i know but i was taking my mate back to the army and he was already late. I got 3 points and £60 fine, ive got another 4 1/2 weeks left till the 2 years is up, so i got to be VERY careful for the next month! Out of curiousity, what speed would I have to have been doing to get 6 points (as a rough guide)? Cos 3 points doesnt seem to bad for what is effectively 20mph over the speed limit (although other people were going faster than me, i cant deny i was speeding). What a crap day!

And your coming in our WM convoy to PVS? 
Sorry to hear about it tho mate, but like you say, you got away with it lightly really, so just keep you speed down for the nxt month an you'll be fine  .

Yes mate, i just posted in the WM regional group saying not to speed! I think June 5th is the last day of my probation thing...yeah. just checked and it is! Ill race you all home then! (just lkidding for the people who didnt get that!)

Hehe. I cont see it being a problem anyway mate. We'll proberbly have an easy cruise down their, so as not to loose people on the way.... Its usually the way back when it gets "interesting"  .

I guess I'm even luckier, then, since I only got a caution after being followed at 90mph for about 5 miles (was round about midnight, and they were tailing a long way behind, so was just another set of lights in the distance until they screamed up right behind me).

Think I might have been caught on the M56 yesterday by a speed gun (was doing 88ish) sneaky prick was hiding around a bend ducking behind a car on hard shoulder Was other cars going past me so have to wait and see I guess

mine wont go over 90 and thats down hill and screaming.

we had snowy's to 112 mph on the clocks  on the way to national meet was a very long hill, with us both leaning forward
of course this is probably only just 100 mph.
