first of all i never said you would lose to a gsi broster i said i bet a 109bhp corsa gsi would'nt be to far behind i never said you would lose if u read what i put instead of takin the piss u'd of got that, also you never gained 38 bhp you gain approx 30/31 as a 1.6 lump starts off with 106/7 bhp so you only gained 30bhp seems most peeps have forgotten this!!!!
an lets face it when me an you had that little blast up that straight upto 50/60mph you was driving a well tuned 1.4 16v an i was driving a standard 1.6 16v with poorly running inlet hoses which my neon wires had burnt through, and you did not leave me pmsl you must have got all of 3/4 foot ahead at the most and if my car was running a 9.5 to 60 book time you was only running a 9.2/9.3 at the quickest an you claimed your 1.416v was doin a 8 seconds roughly to 60 guess that means ur 1600 is doin a high 5 secs
think peeps got the wrong idea what my point was, i was just saying i thought he might have pushed the 145 mark as greasemonkey has said he estimates a 160 bhp mark on his so..... an im not slating any1's car
an b19 gav a 150 bhp 1.6 corsa will still not beat a stock 2.0 in a corsa so how is it more fun, dont bring up the handling either as thats a urban myth lol

TBH i aint too sure about the power figure on my car no more, i raced broster on the way back from the MK cruise it was neck and neck, he has got 15's though and i matched him spot on at acceleration etc so i dunno if im losing vital seconds cos of my wheels, all will be revealed this weekend im back down jam sport with mark to find out the real figures lol,
As for the C20XE v the 150BHP tuned C16CE/X16XE, i know donna GSI had 161BHP in her corsa and she could only keep up with the C20XE to about a ton if i remember right then the C20XE would keep going, round a trak where its not all top end it would be close but the C20XE will always rape the Tuned C16XE top end, i dunno im happy with mine i need more power, and have the cash for a C20XE but deciding if its worth gettin TB's instead
Any way peace dudes, were here to help eachother not argue, If ya get a C20XE ya gotta let me have a go in it so i know what im up against lol

Got a couple of options:
1, keep the corsa, fit the engine.
2, sell the corsa, keep the engine, find something else to put the engine in
C, sell the lot.

end of the day carl, my car would beat a c16xe gsi so i put a ruff guess of 9seconds down for my old engine(never 8seconds), i didnt know at the time your 1.6 was poorly, this is new news, why do u get the idea im saying my new engine is running high 5's to 60? end of the day its my engine in my car i like it i know what its caperble of, end of story. a 2.0ltr in a corsa would beat me yeah but it would be interesting as if a gsi would not loose by much then the power difference between me and a 2.0ltr is about the same as me and a gsi?? should be interesting also wouldnt you say!? only way to solve the issue would be to have my car a 2.0ltr and a standard gsi all lined up and try it that way! any takers!?
also to me tuning a 1.6 is more fun that doing a 2.0ltr conversion, each to their own at the end of the day. didnt mean to sound sarcastic, was having a laff!
