it re programs the ecu or somthing if the batterey is disconected

the burgandy key allows you to get into the car and start it in the event the other keys don;t work. the card has the code for the ECU on it. the ECU and immobillser are all tied in. with out the card they can't decode the ECU if anythign happens. that means a new ECU £££££.

i lost one of these keys when i worked for avis rent a car.the car had a problem and it ended up costing them £350 for a new one

my dad used to ahve a punto GT and they sed he b dead man f he lost the burgandy key, 500 for a new one or sumfin
