ok in the last 6 months my car has done 500 miles, and that included a 160 mile trip to donny last month
its sat in my garage, gathering dust, ive spent about 1k on it on new bits, refurb rims, rear disks, pc, touch screen dash etc and im a bit bored of it all now (again, happens every so oftern)
off back to uni in 2 months and WONT be taking car with me, got my standard corsa as i will be parking in a student area kurbside.
it dosnt owe me anything, but its a shame i dont get to drive it, and cops our way are cracking down on stupid things like numberplates lol
been offered 5 mag features now, but it just needs a half decent stereo or 1.6 dropping in it and its ready, everything else is spot on
if i sold it now id be happy to see the money, cant afford to finish it this year, and next yr ill be buying a house anyway and might not even need a car around the city
just a thought on what to do, also could do with the ££
help needed!

You've come so far, it'd be an insult to you to sell it for someone else to take the credit for. As you said, only a few things left to finish, then 5 magazine features and buyers will be calling...

if you sell it now, your still gonna be bored cos you wont have it to tinker with when you are home, also your not going to get a great amount of money for it so I say keep it untill your finnished uni and ready for another project - then sell it

I understand mate. Your best selling it and running you standard Corsa for now. I'm the same mate, got a standard 106 as i don't have time to mod it or the money, also i only do around 4k a year back and forth to uni and work.

Marv, finished it off and throw a bigger engine in, get it featured THEN sell it.
Cant have some pikey tink finishing it and claiming its all their work etc

drop a 1.6 in it and do a quick install and sell it marvin youll need the cash once you get a house. then do a beetle up or something like that make that the dogs like corsa ;-)

fast car offered mien a fetaure - if I dropped in a 1.6 or finished interiro - but its too much money - another £1500 or so goes a long way towards a new car
