No. simple as the GSi will not beat it.

The only time a GSi is on par with a VTS/GTi is when they are on the motorway then there is hardly any difference.

colin, its not as bad as you think, the large mid-range kick in the GSi/Sport is enough to scare the VTS from 50-80 after that, VTS would edge away

when i had my sport, this was the case, on a slip road from 50 right up to 80 it was neck and neck, jump onto the motorway and it would edge away and i would run out of puff at about 110 and give up

No, GSi will keep with VTS/GTi after 80mph.

I cannot be bothered to argue this.

Corsa GSi - 29.8 sec's 0-100
Saxo VTS - 22.4 sec's 0-100

GSi loses its guts at 120MPH - VTS still going

I like to waste Clio Williams and 172, so nobody bother bringing a VTS, VTR, GSi, Cliovalve or whatever round my kneck of the woods.

oh and btw, my dad is stronger than your dad

Hes either a shit driver or his car has major problems. GSi shouldn't come close.
