What the fucks the point. Gorgeous sunny day, clear roads, and these twats have nowt else better to do than sit on top of fucking bridges and catch innocent motorists who are trying to get from A to B.

I wish this bastard government would

a) Start looking for real bastard criminals
b) Sort out UK Speed Limits to reasonable speeds dependant on time etc

And we played fucking shit.

So if you're on a motorway/dual carriageway at night time, no other cars on the road, you stay at 70mph?

I stay exactly on speed limits all the time, but today, on a sunny day, nothing around, and speed van after speed van on bridge after bridge just took the piss.

Pathetic.

90/100 takes the piss.

Should be 80-85 on motorways, with the rest kept as they are IMO.

I'm still confused as to why people get upset about speed camera's. there are laws governing how fast you can go on the road.

If you break the law you know you run the risk of being caught.
And when you are caught you will pay the price and learn your lesson the hard way like so many of us have.
Everyone knows the Police have these cameras everywhere, it's just a fact of life now.

I would say people are annoyed because Speed Camera van's dont actually make drivers any more aware or safe, and often has an adverse effect because they are watching their speedo rather than the road infront of them. Speed camera's, and van's are only there to make money for the government, they are not going to make people drive more safely.

There's more chance of me crashing when i'm sticking to the speed limits (or just generally driving slowly) than when i'm driving at a comfortable speed that i chose. I get bored when i'm driving 'slow' and tend to look around at the people & scenery alot more which takes my concentration off the road. But when i'm driving at the speed i want to, i'm fully concentrated on the road and whats coming ahead.

I'll learn the hard way one day...

Load of bollocks really. A couple of years ago,i used to speed around like i had no intent of living the next day, got caught speeding twice, got let off both times, and thanked god that i didnt get any fines/points. Now i strictly stick to the speed limit and maybe nudge over it depending on conditions. Speeding is an offence in the eyes of the law. Deal with it

I drive faster in traffic.

On empty roads I tend to drive slower.
