Bacon is only thin... put it in a bowl of luke warm water and let it de-frost.. may take a few mins but ya get yer bacon butty!

the block of bacon is ginormous, and i cant defrost it all, mum wouldnt be too impressed, just gonna goto a cafe!

if u defrost it in the microwave, there is a chance you will part cook it, which is bad. something to do with food poisoning i think. But, best bet is to thaw in luke warm water

You;re at more risk from getting food poisoning from the roadside cafe than you are from part cooking the bacon in the microwave
