The Alfa spiders have really bad scuttle shake, and most of the reliability problems that Alfas are famous for. The GTV V6 is a better motor with better ride and performance. Both are nice cars, more for the enthusiast than the Sunday driver.
People say that TVR's are crap because of the reliability but these are all people who buy them as a form of transportation, not as a treasured play thing. A friend of mine has a TVR Grifith 500, his insurance is sky high, services are £1000 upwards per year and it does about 10mpg, but he loves it and to him its worth every penny, Plus its one of the fastest accelerating things on four wheels this side of £50K

Before my mate got the TVR he had an origional Lotus 7 S4, went like shit off a shovell but it was very impractical so after many years of ownership he sold it to some guy from europe so he could get his dream TVR.

my friend had that car for all of ten minutes, it was quite nippy and he coudn't control it - he wrote it off - one thing in its favour is that it went into the metal barriers in the middle of the motorway etc and held up well - protectd him really well - not even a scratch on him!

Alfa's are not bad for falling to bits like they used to be
Also Deloreans dont rust, there made of aluminum
