How would one go about cleaning ones fuel injectors? and what sort of power are the original ones good for? 20XE

is there not a fluid like carb cleaner.... only for injectors?

ultrasonic cleaning, only way to do it properly and get rid of small particles, plus they can test them and check flow rates on a bench etc.

redex is cool

I remember going for a drive in the old mans pug 405 after putting the stuff in and choking a load of horse riders as we chugged past with smoke pissing out the exhaust!!

You can get em pro-cleaned for about £15 each...

Also: "Remove the plenum box when the engine is warm and spray loads of Wynn's Carb & Injection cleaner into the inlet."

Leave it a couple of minutes and then start it up... more smoke out the back the better...

Mine are currently out. Got some injector cleaner from vauxhall for nowt.

Thats not cleaning the injectors tho is it? i did some 10k boost thru it about 2K miles ago, the neighbours loved it

Daimo- is it just some cleaning fluid ur puting throu?
