wot is with this company
take the pish, one person says one thing and then another says different
im cancelling my details wiv them 7 mths through the year cos i am gettin free insurance with my new car...
they are saying cos of my accident that wasnt not my fault and the 3rd party is payin for my car bein wrote off, that i cannot get a refund on the final 5 mths of my policy..
he says its cos HIC r paying for my claim. TWAT the 3rd party are and they claim it back off her
i had already been told that it was ok 2 cancel with the claim not fully completed tho an offer has been made to me i just havent accepted it yet. now they tell me otherwise
im not payin in installments the whole lot was paid for back in sept

Insurance companies admin is terrible, I should know I work for one.
Best thing to do is get the name of the first person you speak to and constantly hassle that person rather than speak to 5 different people.

HIC are jokers indeed, gave me a quote of £400 'all mods declaired' fully comp!! Called back and they had put me through as standard, full no claims, 4 years older and married!!!! They made up enough shit basically to get a lower premium. That put me off them for life!

i have 2 names ojc but u never get put thru to them.. they are busy or dont ring u back

well say to them you are goin to contact a solicitor if its not sorted out,
check the clause as theyif there is no mention of you having to pay the remainging 3 months jst cancel the debit at the bank so they cant take the money and leave it.

Don't cancel the debit at the bank, this will simply get you a bad credit rating.
You may be a little stuck in that you didn't get the decision to refund in writing when it was given to you. I recommend that you get it now, pay it and wait.
As I remember it is likely that the other driver will be held responsible?

its all paid up..
only cost me £530 FC so id be due £150-£200 back
yes accident wasnt my fault and they have paid out etc..
just tryna cancel it and get my £ back as they wil surely be getin £200 for insuring nothing??

HIC have recently loaded all performence car policies by 25% or something due yo a huge claim in Devon. Also Phil Newman who was getting everyone cheap quotes etc has left as what he was doing was against company policy.
