i fell out with my mum when i was 18 and still at school and moved in with my dad. Im now working and pay my dad rent. He's hardly ever at home, stays at his g/f's house about 4 nights a week, so i have the house pretty much to myself.

But would rather have my own place from the point of view that i could do what i wanted with the place(decorating, party, etc.etc.) but is it worth moving out yet, or wait til im earning more money and can afford to live like i am now, only with a house aswell.

I just dont know what to do !!!

I would soooooooooo love to do that!! Considering it, seriously. But doubt i'd get the loan, so may speak nicely to my dad about it.

Then, I could have everything in the house built as i wanted to start with.

i got so many good mates and know theres always someone i can rely on!

i dont need my family. but speakin to someone has made me make an extra effort towards them.

i wont stay but im trying to change. ive been made to realise it works both ways!

Like i said -- i love my parents and i left on good terms with them; my dad even did all the decorating and even fixed my zorst at the weekend. I see them every day but i just don't like they way they tried to control me.

It's a lot more work i tell ya -- but if you really need to get out of home then it's time to go IMO.

My mother did do a lot for me in terms of cooking and cleaning but both my parents where just like, where are you going, who with, no your not etc etc. The finsl straw was when i wanted to get a car, it was like no, not while your are roof.

I was at the point where i was going to have a break down or something. Just hiting walls with fists, head ect. I was even at the point where i would have taken my life if i had the bottle; i'm really glad now that i didn't and i'm enjoying like as it comes now. I've got 2 cars, getting my 206 soon and quite happy on my own.

mine are totally different to that!

they dont trust me. but dont ask after me etc. i feel more like a lidger than part of family!

and when i found out that my aunt had broke her hip i went crazy as she is also my godmother and found out AFTER the op!

It was more of a control prob with my parents.

It's hard to say what i would feel or do in your position as i have never been there. Have you got brothers or sisters and are they treated the same?

I have got a sister and she is treated the same. I really feel sorry for her but she is her own person and has the money to get out. She's in a much better position than i was as she can get free student accom as she is doing a PHD but i dunno why she stays.

yeah older bro.

he still lives here.

he's had a lot of problems and used ot just think my parents loved him more.

Now ive realised he needs there help more than i do.

the last week or so has made change and also take a good look at myself, mainly thanks to the advice of a friend of mine!

also i work with my dad which prolly puts a strain on things.
