I had a metro which i was insured fully comp on in my own name with the NFU, and i was with them for 10 months. I have a certificate here saying i have 1 years no claims with them, when i left in july, but i wasnt there that long, i only had 10 months no claims. I went to liverpool vicotria when i got the corsa, and have been with them for 17 months, so how can i get liv vic to say i have 2 years No claims? Adrian Flux (people insuring me on the valver) wont accept the certificate, which will mean i am paying an extra £200 a year insurance even though ive been driving over 2 years claim free.

I dont understand.

1) do you have a certificate from this NFU company saying you have 1 years NCB?

2) Did liverpool victoria send you a years no claims certificate after 12months of being insured with them?

Im confused too, dont worry! Im still with liv vic at the moment cos im not getting the XE till tomorrow. I have the certificate from NFU saying "We confirm that vehicle L698 DNY had 1 years no claims allowance when cancelled on 22nd july 2003" but i was insured with liv vic since october 2002. I think i need to ring the NFU again and see what the hell is going on!

Just thought, if i have a certificate here saying i got 1 yr NCD ending some time last year, will it matter that i was also insured with liv vic? If i have 1 years with NFU and 1 with liv vic, could i just give both certificates to adrian flux?

this is what im getting at

fuck worrying about if its 10months or whatever, just get 1years NCB certificate off each insurance company and hand them both to Mr Adrian Flux.

If they try saying they aint valid for whatever reason then play the dumb ass and act like you never knew

i asked them if they would accept a certificate saying i had 10 months and then give me 1 years in 2 months time, but they said they wouldnt. The certificate i have is actually 1 years even though i wasnt with them that long

Just spoke to Adrian Flux - they will ONLY accpet no claims in blocks of 12 months, eg. 11 months and 29 days will not do. Only chance i have now is to get a letter from NFU saying ive been with them 1 year and however many months, then get liv vic to accept that and convert it to 2 years, ready to move to adrian flux! Does anything ever go smoothly in the world of car modifying?!
