Sounds interesting but wouldnt think it would make much difference. Im saving to get rid of my 1.2 and drop 1.6/2.0 in it.

was there a feature in TV or redline or something like that recently? I remember being impressed with the amount of power that the guy had managed to get from it.

Save that spare cash mate. the 1.2 8v units just arnt worth tuning. reap the benefits of cheap insurance, good fuel economy, tax etc.......then drop a decent engine in when u can afford it

Nova 1.4 SRi manifold if i remeber correctly . It's a 4-2-1 jobbie rather than a 4-1. You'll loose lowdown power if you fit it though, and TBH, it needs all the low down power it can get.

What colour was it? Silver?

Guy round my way has around 85-90bhp fromk his 1.2 8v. The one i said was an SXI (watch the row start again). Manifold, panel filter, de-cat + full sytem (inc manifold), cam, flowed head, and chipped. But he was looking at tuning it more.

you;ve got that round the wrong way

you can get more hp out of them them but why bother. the amount of cash you'll spend to get a few extra hp you'd be better off putting in a 1.4 16v engine.
