As above, taken out of my 1.4 8v SRi (C14SE), done about 15,000 miles. Just wondering how much i should ask for it, as i got no idea at all. It was £170 new.

gd way to work out a price for summat 2nd hand is to

half your original (new) price

and then add 10% of the original price and that should give you a rough idea

so half 170 = £85
170
----- x 10 = £17
100

so ur looking at about £100

yeah i was gonna ask for around £100 for it. Anyone know what sort of BHP gain it is supposed to give? I think it was 7bhp on standard. Also, what other engines will it fit, if any?

Well it won't fit any DOHC engine's for the fact there's only 1

will it fit the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.6 8vs then? I kinda guessed it wouldnt fit the 16 valvers!

I know vauxhall make a 1.6 8v engine, and i think they were fitted to some corss abroad.
