i have a 2litre 16v turbo c20let from a cally turbo
im paying £1450 fully comp and my dad as a named driver
my insurance is £1210 and my dad pays the £240
im 21 3 years no claims no points and no convictions
my dad is 45 no claims ever in his driving period no points no convictions and i got 10% discount with adrian flux due to being a paying member of corsasport

i fitted the engine and most of the wiring, my dad had to wire up some complicated bits and program my alarm back in, did my head in

ta mate am in a bit of a situ ya see its either 2.0 Xe int corsa or do i sell for scooob etc but the scoob wud be a standard car as it wud drain all me cash am tryin to weigh up me possibilitys anythins hard to insure as im 19 1 years ncd one fault accident, 8points, 3 for speeding, 5 for careless drivin, am prayin 2.0 power will be under £2k but i doubt it

better off with the corsa, depends on your postcode,where its kept etc

Go for the Corsa Dom mate. Not sure about insurance as you have a conviction or two. Try Beardy on here. He's done quite a few conversions and is pretty near by.

i know people with points and convictions who are paying less on 2litres,1.8's and v6's than people with 1.4's.1.6's with clean licenses, mainly because they have their car garaged and good postcode and alarm systems

my mate has a 2.0 gsi 16v astra with throttle bodies and pays £680 with CIS!!! In parents name
