depends on how strict they are, most will not see it probably

Nah its just a stress crack, nothing to worry about, i have one on my GSI, its passed numerous MOT's and never been flagged up,

im getting both mine welded up or something when i get my respray.. they just look horrible really on clean car

yes i had these on my B and it failed the NCT(MOT)

i had to get them welded

all depends on the tester that does the MOT. some will pass and some will fail. although in theory, they should all fail cos of the distance the weakness is from the anchor point for the seatbelt

mine has i crack which has started to show sign of rust, passed 2 mot's with it though so no worries yet

Lots of people talk about them but i havent noticed anytihng like this on my 1995 SRi, maybe im not looking in the right place?

When i first got my corsa 2 yr ago from the vaux dealer they were cracked an i didn't notice. Spotted it a little after an took it back an the mechanic said he had to put a concrete block in or sumthin but it was covered under warranty, an apparently it was a common fault

that price is cheap, vauxhall will wanna charge more like £250 a side!!!!, no problems, they just get bigger more noticible and in time rust, if they get too big the mot tester might spot them

i got mines welded up but as soon as u do that the crack above or below the weld! the only way to get round this is to cut away and weld a new plate in apparantly! not sure how true it is!

It's an MOT fail due to being too close to the mounting point for the original seatbelts (within 30cm i think).



By the looks of it though, you dont use that mounting point anyway .
