Me Too, dont go as much as i used too, I fish an ultra hard venue in Northampton usually, thinking of goin more this year, might pop dont Welham lake this weekend for a change

i used to go darenth but the membership now is a joke price i live other side of maidstone and last wk end went to sams lakes in smarden £6 for the day people pulling out monster carp all days i would try this place or in ashford is some decent lakes to

You talking about specimen carp fishing Lee or just "drag-em-out" style?

If you're willing to travel, Gold Valley lakes are excellent for dragging em out, average 10lb or Willow Park Big Lake for real specimens around 30lb.

They're both in Ash Vale, near Aldershot and about £10/day per rod.

My little brother used to go fishing a hell of a lot with my dad. They used to have quite a few places they used to go and always caught a fair few fish. I will ask him 2nite the best places to go.

I belong to Farnham Angling society, they have quite a few decent waters around Farnham/Aldershot way (only 65 a year they have some big cats in some of there waters too), went quite a lot last season, caught my personal best 24lb 4oz Mirror ( see pic ) havent been much this yr due to havin a girlfriend now and dont really get the time.
Supposed to be goin to ettang de conne if France this july for a week but not sure weather or not too go now.

im a carper. im very lucky, we own are own lake, full of the fuckers! we let it out on syndicate. lee mitchell if u wanna have a crack at it in ur weeks off let me no, produced about 40 twenties last year and 3 30s

what people describe a lake as when they cant catch anything
usually one which doesnt produce very many carp in a season

Could be a 20acre lake which contains 2carp

coupld be a 1/2 an acre pool with a load of old clued up mirror carp which have been around longer than you or me!

specimen mainly. went gold valley last year in winter for the first time. very nice there. had 3 doubles that they plus a few just under that. i know willow park is just down the road as we went past that. might give that a try

anyone heard of wintons in burgess hill. thats where im joined to. carp to around 45 and cats to 50. some lovely koi aswell around 30lb mark
