Been thinking about it now for the past few months, and really would like my own place, but I don't know if I will be able to get a mortgage or not, and don't want to apply until I'm def certain of whether I'm going to get my own place or not...

Still livin with my folks, and gettin cramped now, just no room to swing a cat or anything! But least living with them is cheap!

Only problem is, the Corsa will have to go (well, whats left of it ) so will no doubt end up scrapping it as it won't sell, needs too much work!

So what should I do? Get a mortgage & get my own place, or stay with the olds & do the Corsa up VERY slowly...

If you can afford to buy a place go for it, it wont go down in value like a car does

I just feel ive done the modded car thing for long enough and need my own space - same will happen to every one of you

Unless you intend to be totally gay and live at home forever

This is the reason ive bought my BMW 325 - cheap and fast I can now sell my MR2 and have a nice fat bank accound and maybe a nice deposit for a house

Either that or I'll spend it plus some more on another car not decided yet

Oh yeah im 21 if it makes any difference

I've got plenty for a deposit for a house in a savings account which I was only going to use for such reason, NOT for my car. Have about 8k in there (well, was just under 8k before christmas so should be just over now )

I reckon if you're 21 or over then get a place of your own. Living on your own or with mates or whatever is a wicked experience and at the end of the day a car is only a car.
