we've all seen the arguements about the ctr and people's opinions on it, which has escalated into a bit of a joke really.

just want to know what people's favourite current hot hatches and for what reasons?

im saying the civic type r, for the reasons that its undoubtedly quick, represents extremely good value @ £16k, looks good (coming from a designer myself) and then there's the V-tec

i have driven one and i was very impressed

so whats yours then??

get a few back orders of EVO if you want a non biased informed opinion.

Although its looking that EVO are rating the clio 182 as the best all rounder atm.

Probably pitched the CTR up agaisnt the Astra GSi Turbo and such like. Which is fairer IMO.

One my my friends who services for me recently imported a road going version of a Renault 5 Maxi Turbo 2.

Maybe not the best hot hatch ever, but fook its amazing! He drove 12 miles home from our workshop on the back roads and the brakes and half the engine was glowing red hot!!! I'll get pics soon!

Best hot hatch has to be the Metro 6r4 without a doubt!
