cool, can any1 confirm this? Just that 1 tried to race me the other nite but didn't as I weren't to sure how quick they are & didn't wanna embarass myself

yea they ar 120bhp 1.4 turbo 0-60 around 7.4 depends where u get the figures from.

the thing is withturbos is you never know how much power they are running, i.e bleed valves etc.....

standard ones shouldnt be a prob, but i cant remember the last time i saw a standard one

my mates got one - like lightning. pretty damn sure a 1.6 corsa couldnt beat one!!

Like someone said - there arent many standard ones about anymore!!!

they are reliable as any car aslong as they are maintained [properly. and considering most are owned by nob ends on a tight budget they aint so yes they will all blow up sooner or later

They're about as reliable as delta automotives bumpers are sturdy!!! My mates has had sh1t loads go wrong with it.

the thing is ive herd loads of stories about them being unreliable, id never have an R5.

depends how you drive them i suppose, but realisticly if they cant handle a good thrashing then are they worth it

Agreed most people wind the boost up, and dont uprate anything and they wonder why they go bang, mine had done 130k and was still goin strong, only had 1 problem wiv it in 6 months and that was just the starter, great little cars.

when i was playing with kerrys vectra i had a little traffic light grand prix with one and cheeky little bastard went flying off the lights and left me standing but in 2nd at around 50ish i went past him!!
