yeah....agreed
at 17..... u'd be most likely to be a total BOY RACER...... the 2.0 litre would be ur first and last car that u owned in ur short life on this planet!!!!
a 1.4 16V for ur age should be more than enough to play about in.
save up ya ncb's and then upgrade to sumthing more powerful

It all depends on what you deem to be an acceptable premium.
All these people saying "20, 21, 22, etc" - what a load of bullshit. You have no idea what his circumstances are - the car might be parked on a main road with a high car-crime rate.
He might have no NCD and 6 points on his license for wreckless driving.
This whole thread is bollocks!

I was given my quote when phil was there, then I phoned up after he left and they said they'd still do it.
I'm keeping my 1.4 16V till I'm 21, then with 2 yrs ncb and 4 years driving experience I'll get something fast already. Like a scooby or something. Gonna start saving asap!

Its all about what you want to pay. I had a modified RST when I was 19, BMW 328 Coupe at 21 and an MR2 Turbo at 22. Never had an accident so I've given thousands to insurance companies for no real reason, but its what I wanted to do.

I know of people who have had Scoobies at 21. Doesnt Nismo have an RX7 and he's around that age.
Like Joff said depends on postcode, NCB, where the car is kept at night, mileage, mods, claims, points....................
Its possible for some but not for others to have a scooby at 21.
