sorry if this is complete bollocks. here goes, someone recently told me i needed new top mounts on my front struts, he started going on about uprated stuff and im sure he mentioned roller bearing top mounts

does this make sense? i didnt even know there was a thing such as 'performance' top mounts.

i think you can get adjustable ones to correct your camber change from lowering.

i remember seeing them in redline motorsport catalogue. think they are made by TAS or someone like that.

You can get adjustable top mounts, which have an offset hole in the centre. This means that by rotating it you can adjust the castor/camber angles

We use TAS top mounts on the rally car - they're the strongest (and best) for clubman cars, so for road use they're more than good enough. Your about £200 for a set but ours were £80 each with discounts etc.

You can set up the suspension much better as most are totally adjustable for camber/toe-in adjustment.

I doubt you really need them for the road though - bit of a waste of money for something nobody will notice or see...

I think for road use just get some new GM ones.

Its not really worth the money TBH after seeing the price of the TAS ones.
