this summer im gonna buy a cheap project car and do loads of one off custom work on it but i dont know what to choose. i was thinking something like an early 106 /saxo,but also wouldnt mind doing another corsa as you can pick them up pretty cheap i spose. what do people suggest? dont really matter about engine size as it will all be changed.

or

calibras a good idea,i can get one off a bloke at work for 1k, its an n reg 16v ecotec with about 100k on the clock.this sound any good?

on ebay red top callys with 4wd are going for 900 notes, not sure on condition, but i was looking into one as a track day car

i wouldnt wanna go much over 1200 really,wanna spend more on stuff for it!
i will be doing pretty much all the work myself so wouldnt cost too much.
how are you finding doing all your own work flaming corsa? keeping you busy i spose!

ive got the same prob though, however my first car is a cally so was actually thinkin of bungin that in the garage and gettin a corsa, the grass is always greener lol !! Im thinkin of gettin a newish 4x4 turbo keepin is standard apart from a phase 3.5 kit or similar, nock a second off the 60 down to about 5.8 would be sweet ill have to get some pics of my car on here its mag blue on 17's with semi reiger kit, 70k fvsh etc

i am enjoying doing work 2 my car its fun and nice 2 c it progress! getting 2 the hard bit not tho cos i can spend a day smoothing it down and getting rid of pinholes etc and dont look much different after either! very testing on the pactience!
