here r a few pics of the stage in which i am at, at the mo. i will post a step by step with pics when i have completed it, just going to see how they turn out first before i tell any1 how i did it, they might turn out shit

thats alot of fibreglass looking good tho mate, will be having a pop at doing this when the weather gets better and i have some time!

i need to put alot of FG on to get the shape right will put one-two more layers of FG, then skim it with filler, then hopefully be looking good.

dont put anymore fibreglass on, do the rest with filler, your gonna have a nightmare sanding that lot odwn.

What is the best thing to sand fibreglass with, i have always found it hard going.

i will do one more layer of FG to get the shape to my liking! then i will attempt to sand it down i'v heard its a nightmare!

do u lot think i should skim it with filler soon? and should i FG the inside or not??

y didnt u just get a shape you liked with the cloth and put some mat over it, surely that would of been quicker/easier/better?

i have made a mold with MDF rings, but using the FG to make it a nice smooth shape! to blend out! plus i needed to pack out the mold with FG to give it more strength!

i would use a DA but then i doubt you have access to one of those.
