Whats going on at Manchester Piccadilly?? Loads of police & half shut down apparently...

Friend of mine who is trying to get a train is stuck there & asked me whats up, but cant find anything on teletext!!

was told the newsagents is closed aswell (which is strange) and there are even more police there!

Erm not sure, I havent heard anything about it. So they have closed down the station, so no-one can get a train?? Sounds like something big is going down!

on my way into town on tram driver made an announcemnt that was about 8.30 last night so was oing on till late from all accounts police were searching public transport for suspect packages

i went past there at half 12 last night! and there was police line every where, it was something to do with the trams. rob
