My mate has got the below subs. It says there they are 2x250watt max. So what amp would he need to power them? I'm guessing he would need a 4 channel amp? But what output would it need, i get so confused between rms and max output etc. Would he want a 1000watt max 4 channel amp? cheers

Should just match the RMS.

But it doesn't say on that site...

Would need 2 channel amp, 2 subs, 2 channels...

They mite b ok.

1000w amp would probly blow them apart

u need a 2 chanel amp around 400w max that would do ya

i'm guessing they are shit. Only cheap tho. But dont u need 4 channels to power 2 subs?

you could have a 4 channel amp, then bridge the 4 channels down to give u a 2 channel amp, then run them like that. As for what power amp u need, as said above, match the RMS ratings from the sub to an amp.

Seein as they look pritty shit u probly wont need that much power so i wudent waste ur cash on a 4 channel amp. a 2 channel amp would do the job
i wouldent pay loads for an amp with subs that arnt exactalty the best in the world

so these subs are 250watt max each. So rms is 125 roughly. So i need a 2x125 watt rms amp?
