Last night on dual carriage way going home from work saw a focus RS in front of me, as soon as he saw me in his mirror he booted it, fcuk me these things aint slow from 50-80 he was flying Started to reel him in a bit at 80 till he slowed down because there was a big fat white skyline in front of him. So skyline boots it, Focus boots it, I follow no one really seems a lot faster than the other by now we are around 100 but here comes the funny part, a big ass yellow van decides to join in and pulls in between the skyline and the RS I cant belive what im seeing this nobber in a yellow works van is really trying to race, anyway focus turns off and then the 3 of us come up to an exit. Skyline is in front of me followed by the yellow van, skyline tears round a roundabout i can hear it dumping it sounds ace but the yellow van follows it bodyrolling its arse off, they shoot down another dual lane road, i drop of a bit because i laughing so much i wish i could have filmed it, they go round another roundabout and the yellow van comes soooo close to tipping over so i point at laugh at him. skyline reaches and straight and is off into the distance. I cant believe blokes who drive works vans these days, trying to race a fecking skyline? what next? really wish i could have filmed it because it was classic stuff

And those focus RS`s 50-90 they are mental.

noony, the astra is certainly a lot smoother innit. The RS is too raw IMO. The cosworth version is gonna be bonkers

lol, the fiesta RS is gonna be stonking. I reckon it will be 190-200bhp, and probably incredibly fast. I know its a ford, but its a bloody good handling one at that, and i think a really good powerful engine is what it needs. I am interested in the Fiesta ST too. That will be a good little package.

Focus RS is not fast! must of been a GTS skyline!
i ripped apart a RS in my 300zx the other day top end, and acceleration like he was standing still and he was defo trying it as we where doing over 130 (private track officer) untill traffic got in way to stop us.

Havent had my car on the rollers but a conservative guess would be that its making 220 bhp & about 220 lb/ft torque, what are the stats for the Focus he was definately pulling away 50-80/90

erm might have done Tom lol , despite everyone having a go and saying they were sh1te etc, but its a different car, lighter flywheel makes it rev more like a 4 cylinder and not lazy like a standard V6, defo revs like a turbine now, and its defo quicker but more economical on part throttle. Kerry was gonna drive it last weekend as a comparision agaisnt hers. Gonna get it on the rollers soon, wont be too worried if the power figures arent up to what Courtenay claimed because its a different car now much nicer to drive.

Yeah in my days of having a torqueless car ie 1.3 106 rallye i used to have problems with them mid range, but still he was trying it on agaisnt a skyline, and he basically saw 3 hi-performance cars and decided he was going to have a go, fcuking nobber or what?

yeah when everyone was disputing the power claims they failed to look at the % increase. I mean its a 190 odd bhp car to start of with, so whats to say a remap, zorst and induction modifications wont get 10bhp? i mean that would only be a 5% increase i cant see how that is not feasible.
