The Punto GT is well underrated. They are fast in gear, not bad top end for a 1.4 and contrary to popular belief quite reliable. The only thing that supposedly lets them down is handling but I think that could be soreted with a decent suspension kit.

106 GTi is better tho

Ross I'm not sure if your aware but I believe there was a handfull of 1.4 8v Turbo Mk2's on V-registrations.
