hi all, a few of us were in me mate micra 2 nite n were flashed over by a volvo. this mush got out n said he was a satgent in hartlepool force n said he was driving like a TIT and a MORON(which he was and couldnt really denie it). he took his name and plates n said he was gonna make a complante n send some1 round his house. Can he get done for this or is the copper trying to teach him a lesson by makeing him scared. ive told my mate to denie it all the way like.. what you think he should do. plz help. Cowelly

how bad is the spelling in that

yes he can report you - yes he can send someone round - and yes he will be on the look out for ya when he is on duty


do u normally stop for strangers in cars flashing there lights?

police are never really off duty, they have too carry there warrent card at all times. yes he can do that!!!

The blue flashing lights cost £5 from car accessory shops, the siren probably not much more. It could still be anyone.

Anyone can take your plates etc and put in a complaint about your driving, just more likely to have something done about it if it's a copper who makes the complaint.
Prob right though, he can't be done if it's just one guy, but the cops will now know who your mate is and to keep an eye on him.

only thing is if it came to his word against the coppers who do u think the courts would believe? very much doubt the copper would take it that far
