Im about to put some new wheels on my car and i wouldnt say where i live is the safest place to park a car
Do you think i should trust my vauxhall locking nuts and put them on a set of Kahn alloys or should i invest in some decent locking nuts? If so what ones?

BTW if someone wanted to nick my alloys does it matter what locking nuts are on there they will still get them off. < this is what my mate says

Thanks!

If i had kahn wheels i dont think i would trust vaux locking nuts but thats me. Have a look for McGard locking nuts, not cheap - around £30 but are supposed to be very good

Yea ive heard they are good aswell. I would fork out £30 for them locking nuts if they actually stopped people nicking my alloys rather than taking them 30secs longer to get my alloys off!

Anyone had any experiences with these McGard locking nuts?

yeah the McGard ones seem to be highly rated. they do a new spin shroud design now aswell.

I couldnt use my vaux ones with my wheels as they were too short and wouldnt fit.

i invested in mcguard as well, they seemed the best and manufactuers like BMW and Mercedes fit them to their alloys. good enough for them, good enough for me.

but i havent tried to nick my wheels either

i had 2 sets on my car, i guessed if soemthing really wanted them they would take them, but with 2 sets slows them down so u can find them at it and smash thier head with rock
