I'm about to put my standard wheels back on my car. However the tyres are illegal. If I got pulled over, is it true that it is 3 points per tyre?

you would get ass-raped!

1 tyre 3 points, nice fine...

all 4 tyres... maybe 6 points or a ban or stupid fine!

they will look at it in the way the car aint road legal, so you'll have no MOT or insurance, as the bald tyres will invalidate them all!

Okay, I'll stick my old alloys on for now, till I get my next car and it goes up 4 sale.
