I've only been getting about 170-200 miles on a full tank of petrol in my Sxi... This is really low aint it?

I'm constantly filling my car up, I guess induction kit + exhaust will mean more fuel used - but still - I thought the Sxi was supposed to do 46 miles to the gallon! bout 8 gallons in the tank (maybe more?) and I'm struggling to do 20 miles to the gallon?

Or is it coz I just rag my car constantly

If I put 20 quid in when the light comes on, I get 200 - 240 miles.
Which is Optimax at 79.9


Paul your car is fucked

I give mine the beans all over, fire it off the handbrake from the lights at 5000 rpm, still good economy.

I think I drove from Norwich to Chester which is about 230 miles with amongst other stuff, a Soldano 4x12" speaker cabinet and various other junk, on 18 quid.

Yes... I think my guage is screwed...

It goes under the red marker - red light on and stays there... I tell my parents I need some petrol (they occasionally help me out and fill it coz college is mileage), and its full again...

though the other day when it was on the red my dad said he only put in 16 litres and it was clicking like he couldn't get any more in!!!

Think its done the same then... I do drive it over 3500 rpm constantly - but still this is excessive!

well this is a story:

had my engine changed and since then car wud never show full even if it pissed petrol out the hole, but had a crash and since i got it back from bodyshop its perfect again????
He didnt touch front of car or tank?

I usually only get 280 miles out of a tank but when i had to fill up i had done 330 miles same fuel and everything - even been ragging it the same

I get around 450-500 miles on average. More when using BP untimate.
