Just got a lift-reverse Ripspeed gear knob for me Corsa B

Tried yanking the knob () off and twisting it from side to side but it's not budging one bit. Maybe i'm just too weak!

Anyone got any useful tips?

Also, managed to get my stock Head Unit out about halfway, tried disconnecting the large plug on the back and couldnt get it off. Are there any clips or bolts i need to undo? The thing just doesnt want to come off!!!

O and one more thing, if i have a flat battery and leave the car idling in the driveway, will the battery charge up? Or do i need to take it out on the road?

Thanks for the help

Dave

The head units plug is catching on the case, you will need to pull harder, or try taking some of the sticky tape off the wiring loom behind it to get some more length.

On idle it will charge up slowly, may as well go for a drive.

BEST WAY TOGET THE GEAR KNOB OFF IS TO HEAT IT UP WITH A HAIR DRYER. ITS NOT GLUED IN BUT THE RUBBER ON THE INNER KNOB IS AS TIGHT AS A VIRGINS PUSSY!!!!.
