Please can anyone interested in becoming an organiser for this region send me a u2u saying why they would like the position and what they feel they could bring to the community

I would also like any comments you Welsh members have about the possibility of either splitting Wales into North and South or merging North Wales into North West and renaming this region South Wales

Finally I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rocky for his input into the region and point out that he has now takin a step down from position as organiser due to outside commitments

Good luck to who ever the new organiser is, look forward to discussing meets and events with you.

As for renaming the Region, it has been in my mind for a while. I think 'South, East and West Wales' would be better, as it is only really North Wales which is so far away from most users of this forum.

up to the people frrom north wales realy although not many use the region anyway

as far as im aware they are more likely to go to a cruise in North West etc than south wales as its a bloody long drive with no direct motorways

yes i think this also. South, East and West Wales are regions within Wales which are linked easily by the M4.

The reason the North isnt is due to the fact that there are huge great mountains in between

and as bonzai said, there are no motorways. I think a merge would be better for the North Wales users.
