when i log in it says im not logged in but when i click on a forum it logs me in

im on aol - just use IE instead of AOL's shite browser and ya wont have a problem

Why would you want to browse the web within the AOL Software though I shall never know

I'm connected via AOL, but the machine which handles the connecting dont run the AOL client

its also shared across my LAN, something AOL say you can't do unless you fork out loads of £££'s & buy a 'dedicated' router, which is just crap anyways!!
