Went upto Santa Pod today..........It was a last minute thing as i checked the web on Friday, and saw that some big show had been cancelled, to be replaced by a RWYB!

Now i know how packed the Pod can get on RWYB days, and i thought this be a perfect opportunity to run my 306 DT (cough), as not many ppl wud have known bout the cancellation! I was right.....

Got there at 8am, waited for Rain and SNOW to stop.......they dried track out, started runs at midday and it was all good!!!

Unfortunately, a Split boost pipe was the order of the day……but I managed to get in 5 runs varying from 17.0s dead (@ 79mph), right thru to 18.1s *cough*. Was happy with the 17s tho, running 75% of my normal boost, but will back once I’m running 100%! Not bad for the old Derv.

Was an excellent day out…..quite a few 2.0 corsas/novas, and a Pulsar GTi R that ran a sub 13s!! Blew away the Porsche Carrera next to it!!

Anyone know wot sorta terratory 17s 1/4 is?? And what sorta 0-60 that "should" equate to??

cheers, Matt

Wot to run @ Santa pod geez?? Its £10 entry, then £15 to sign on for the 1/4. So basically £25. Not bad really! £5 a run

Fair douz Kris.......but it gets sooooooo Busy @ PVS! I remember waiting on the bank for over 2 hours between my brother's runs. He only got 3 in a whole day. Bit more expensive as well!

U'd be better off gettin up there during the next couple of months........quieter, more runs and colder air for ur turbo!!!!

Can't tell, you might of accelerated quite slow up to 60mph and then faster afterwards, but I'd say between 10 and 11 seconds probably.
