cars pretty much a write off
i havent declared any ice..
and cos insurance didnt pick my car up wen asked.. and stil habent iv stripped it all for security.. even the whole headunit
shudnt have to give it to them shud i?

thats my view.. but they may ask 4 it
i can deny havin subs.. amps etc wen accident occured
but wot bout headunit
iv said iv taken stuff for safety cos itl get nicked
they shud just want the car in its modded state showin the damage
ice is irrelvant esp as im not claimin it as part of the value of the write off

shud be ok about that inless there been very picky, can u get seperate insurance for ice? what does it cost about for a system worth about 3-4k?

not a clue how much depends on different circumstances
well they are only getin a modded corsa wit no ice..
its lost half the kit.. had to take bumpers off 4 towin eyes. and other stuff got nicked
wheels are off the car.. again in case got nicked but they wil prob have to take them cos they were apart of the damage.. and had to take them off to move the car

pull the stereo out
all of it
every last peice
if possible stick old speakers and old headunit in
but if not just pull it all out

havent an old headunit.. have take subs.. amps parcel shelf with 6by9s in
only left is the wiring cos cudnt get it out

coz if they write it off u aint getting it back
i wanted some bits of my mondeo when my dad wrote it off and they wouldnt let me ave any bits
so anything u want or can sell strip

Prob should strip all the wires m8 i took the headunit out of my corsa wen wrote off and left nithin in there nothin was asked cos whoever collects it will just strip it ne way your a tit if you leave ne thing in there fella

the insurance ppl won't look for wires though.

aint bothered they are only wires i dont need

goin to say.. u didnt move my car wen i asked.. thus it got wrecked even more
so i had to take alloys off to move the car to a safe place cos u wudnt
and the headunit came off in case that got nicked 2

if you've already told them that you've taken stuff out mate then i wouldnt say what exactly you took out mate unless they specifically ask. cos then if they start gettin shitty about havin it back....say you just took out a couple of bits (bits you dont mind givin them to shut them up) and if they say you must have had a head unit then tell them that they took so long to pick ur car up that some pikey had their eye on it and the head unit got nicked!
