I don't really know about batteries and the way they work - I'd imagine it makes no difference, but does it matter if you connect your positive lead to the negative connector and the negative to the positive?
Usually red to + and black to -?
yes...? any problems if you don't do this?
I noticed my black lead was going to the connection (under the flap with a + on) and the red lead was going to the other one... is this wrong? does it matter?

Brosters is red to + and black to -
Mine (can just see in the distance is black to +)

brown on the batterey is earth = negative
black is positive so is red

Yes and no...
I have to reset the ecu about once a week otherwise it runs like a piece of turd on my shoe.

Change it round then.
Ur battery might be fooked though from having it the wrong way round.

thought red was to positive and black to negative not got me motor though so cant double check would just cause a speark I think if you get them the wrong way round nothing najor unless u keep doing it

Unless you want to change every lead on your car to make it a positive earth dont even attempt to do it!
