My mate parked his Preg BMW convertable in a car park last nite and wen he came back from work the crash bars behind the passengers head rests had popped up and out through the rear window has got to take it to bmw will cost a packet to fix. Does ne one know if there is a way of makin these go off like shakin the car or is it just a freak occurance mayb its had a smash b4?

kicking the bumper can do it i spose
on early vw's that had all the airbags if you kicked the bumper square in the middle they went of i heard
