am considering transferring my balance across to one of these o% on balance transferrs places, just need a bit of advice cos i dont really know much about this sorta thing

wot are the advantages of doing this?? does this mean i dont pay any interest on my balance, and just pay it off??

any help or advice much appreciated

It means you dont pay interest!

I've just moved mine over from Egg to Mint... get 0% interest til 1st October!

Egg, Mint, most of the credit card companys are doing 0% credit for 6 months.

I have it... took the agreement about 4-5 days... sign it send it back.... 1-2 weeks you'll get a pin then few days later you'll get your card!

If you're doing it to get out of debt - go to one with 0% interest and pay the balance off but don't buy anything on it. - thats usuall the catch. xx

i've got the mint one and got accepted online - that normal, does that mean they're gonna send out my card and paperwork, or will i have to wait for a couple of weeks?

wait for the docs to come through, sign em and send back. then when your card arrives they'll give you a number to ring. just ring and make sure you have the card you want to transfer from handy.
