Thats the way i looked at it when i got mine. Has everything i want, and looks pretty good standard. just needs a few little bits (Zaust, few bits colour coding, lowering) to make it how i want it .
Also got one in "that nice dark blue colour"

Sadly its a 1.4, not a 1.8 though .

125bhp @ 5600rpm
0-60 in 8 seconds
125mph top-end
Valver transplant isn't that costly - if you have the space to break a donor car you may even be able to make a profit by selling the parts you don't use - that's what I did!

Would have been about £11k brand new with the pearlescent paint. I bought mine about a month ago. Was 13 months old, 9k miles and saved a fair bit on the price new

Ouch! How many months old was the car when you had it then?
Oh, and have you got the cross hatch grill in the front bumper, and an alloy throttle pedal, not just brake and clutch like mine .

Shiiiit. I knew 1.8's were more expensive, but not by that much. £2.5k for 500 mile, 400cc, 6 months newer, ABS and Traction/cruise control. It's a lot more cash, but then i suppose if you've got the money .

Declare the fact that a few 0s and 1s are different in the EPROM on your ECU?
Fair enough.
