Well yesterday it was really icy out, and went to take my missus home, on the way back i had to pull out on to a main road with fast moving traffic, so i floored it a bit to get the 1.2 up to speed but as turning the wheels start spinning but the weird thing was the steering was shaking everywhere!?! is that normal or is something wrong? if so what?

could be it was biting for traction
and is it lowered?
stiffer suspension caused this

aah that probably it, yeah its lowered with spax probably the hardest ride ever.
