Just spoke with Dragon Performance and well...

They have run the tests and it appears that the 1st Turbo is only spooling to 3psi and the 2nd turbo is spooling to 0.2psi

Standard is 1st turbo 10psi and then during change over 8ps then 2nd turbo 10psi

(10 - 8 - 10)

this is good in away as i thought the first turbo was fine and cant wait to get it back.

They belive its an electrical fault and solinoids are to blame.

Just waiting for the dreded phonecall.

perhaps nismo wants his engine to last more than 2 seconds

running high psi just to get a high bhp for a few secs on rollers before you engine goes pop i think is a bit silly

different car

Have you ever heard of Rotary its a different engine , you cant just go cranking the PSI up for more power theres ways you have to go about these's things, you will under stand if you owned a jap car.

A standard 8 bit rx7 ecu cant cope with any more boost it wasnt desinged too

so in other words it cost ££££ to up the boost on a rex because lots of parts have to be upgraded all at the same time
