If a car has been brought over from Ireland and is now registered in England will it have the same log book as we have (V5) or will it be different?

assuming northern ireland, yes it will have a v5, but its very different from an english one.by law you need to re-register within 5 months of import or else you'll be liable to pay tax on it.
no it wont have a v5 if you bring it over cos its classed as an import , it'll have a v5(c) which is a european log book/imported car log book.(assuming you re-register it)
for southern ireland as far as i know its completely different, but you'll get a new log book on re-registration anyway and im pretty sure you need to pay import tax
