ROFL i do not understand why you all go on about Saxo's and 106's being the worst cars. But what the majority of you say about them is totally untrue. They are very good cars, fast and extremely good handling (im really talking about the gti and VTS) and im my opinion there are very few corsa's that are better the VTS/GTI's when you talking in these means.

I have to say I'd have a GTI or VTS over any standard corsa anyday of the week. A 2L corsa isn't that much quicker than a VTS

Steve in his 106 gti would beat some 2.0 corsa's. But as a handling car the VTS/GTI would totally kick ass.

ok let me get this straight ure saying a 106 gti will beat a 2ltr corsa?
now i dont know if any engine mods are done but Adam K corsa 2ltr has has rs turbo's civic vteck's and numerous other cars up the strip

and a while back had a corsa v's saxo day saxo's won erm nothing

if there had been a turbo or s/c vts at corsa saxo day it would have been a lot closer (not quite up there with lucky b tho)

and ak's 2ltr corsa is stripped out yes?

paxo vts/106 gti`s have the same torque as a fiesta zetec-s which many of you say is slow. that says a lot.

a zetec s is slow and the vts/gti is a much lighter car

the fact that they will hit 60 3 seconds quicker than a zetec-s would suggest that they are in no way similar performance wise

106 gti tested by evo - 7.4
zetec-s seen from 10secs to 10.5 never under 9
