ask krisTD he did his recently, think he just removed the rubber seal inside so u can just pop it open!!

mines been done remove the rubber and u can just pull it easily done

does it ever pop open when your driving or anything?? i know mine locks when i lock the car but id be worried it'll pop open

nope it dont pop open at all and no need to pop the key down the side (may scratch it) just pull it open with your fingers job done

ive tried opening it without the bit! but it dont seem to work! might get a min plunger or something!

in that case thats another little job for me, did u weld over the hole once u got it out or fibreglass??

i'm not sure as a mate did it for me when the car went into the paint shop
guessing the lip was ground down and fibre glassed and filled

i know i do 1 coat then leave it a week to dry!! then rub down a little bit and leave it a week been off the car about 2 months now!!! Im justtaking my time to get a perfect finish lol

my drivers door interior handle is still missing from like 2 years ago got pissed off with the imperfections i just lobbed it sumwhere

i sawed mine off then bro fibreglassed over it
bought extra rubber ring but cant get ALL of old one off
i jus use my pickin finger to get it open

got sinkage on the door now after few yrs
need redone soon

dont have a problem getting mine open to be honest - and I still have rubber on - just get tips of fingers down the inside of the rubber

i remmeber when i was the first one to do it on here (or one of the first)

marvs one is oneoff another car that fits
took my bro ages to fibreglass over the hole to make it flat without showin the outline of the hole it left when u cut nob off

used an angle grinder with sanding disc on it too remove the lump, then just stuck a little bit of filler i the hole. easy, takes 5 minutes. have to remove the rubber seal, its a bitch to open otherwise.
