wot the performance difference would be between a corsa gsi and a saxo vtr or vts???? 0-60 speed, top speed etc, please

dont know the fiqures but GSI should beat a vtr but vts is a different story if the cars are standard!!

my old gsi beat a vtr easily but erm raced a vts once and never did it again

now im buyin a vts

Get a 106 GTi... Same car but without the Roy Bacer image + Leather seats.

i would say the late VTR's would be a pretty good match for a GSi from standing still as they are 100BHP lighter and due to being an 8v and pull quicker at lower revs, altho the GSi would have a better midrange hence better top end

VTS woudl rape a GSi silly

GSI's are like 8.5-9 secs to 60 aint they?

as much as i like corsas thats a bit wrong.

VTS are quite tunable they are the same engines as 106 GTi's, substanncial gains can be got from just a filter exhaust and decat u can also get hold of ram induction kits for them which imporves the VTS and VTR quite niticably.

also u can get TB's, super chargers, turbos etc always goin to be a saxo/corsa rivalry

but in this case both the GSi and Saxo would appear to be stock

altho i cain VTS which is nice

Whats faster, Saxo VTR or Corsa Sport? I've raced a few VTR's an none have enuf grunt to get past me.

Early VTR's and 1.4 16v Corsas are pretty evenly matched but the VTR will have the edge from 60 onwards.

The later 100bhp VTR's are the same as the 1.6 16v Sport/GSi off the mark and to about 40, after that the Sport/GSi will start to pull away.

Just my opinion but, I have a VTR with an induction kit, s/s exhaust with decat and no back box. I recon I could beat a GSI.

What do yous think?
