electric sunroof conversions.


if anyone is interested post here, or PM me.

pannels i can get for around £8 brand new, and a stripped and rebuilt motor for around £20 from a mate of mine who works at a garage that specialises in vauxhalls. i'm gonna go down to the scrappy's next week (as my car is off the road till next tuesday), and see how many motors i can find for cheap (as there are quite a few senators, carltons and cavs with eleccy roofs in the scrappys near me)

i will post anywhere, and i will let you have them for the price that i got them for.

yeah shure. i'll post prices next week.

also i will take some pics of my sunroof. which will show the pannel that i can get (astra mk3) and the motor.

the pics will be posted tomorrow night

yeah they are very easy to fit, would take half an hour max.

like i said prices will be up next week for you guys.

and to all the people who have PM'ed me i have replied, and i will PM you next week as soon as i get the parts in

i have that tutorial from total vauxhall. i will photocopy it and send it with each conversion.

I was gonna ask at the srappers I go to tomorrow about a price for everything needed to do manual to electric conversion.
If they cant sort me a decent price or havent got any in, then I'd like you to get me what I need too please.

right, tomorrow my car should be back on the road. so i can take a trip to my mates' garage, and see how many re-con motors he has, or can get (these are £20 each)
i am also gonna take a trip down to the scrappys near me, and buy all the motors that i can find.
the pannels i can get for £8

i never knew there would be so much interest.

i have arranged to visit the scrappys tomorrow with my mate ( a vauxhall expert )

sorry people. i have been very busy this week.

anyways, i got to the scrappys, and i have found some motors, and i have pannels.

due to the overwelming responce, i cant get everyone a motor just yet. so i have desided to let them to the the highest bidders.

at the moment my mate has all but one of the motors, and is checking that they all work, and run smoothly.

i have one with me at the momet that has been tested, and also a new astra mk3 pannel.
